WORKSHOP SPEAKER 1

Adam Feizrel Linoby

Senior Lecturer, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia 

​

Adam Feizrel Linoby is a distinguished scholar and senior lecturer at the Faculty of Sports Science, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Negeri Sembilan Branch. With a strong academic background, he holds a Bachelor's degree in Sport Science (Hons.) from UiTM, a Master’s degree in Sports Science from Bond University, Australia, where he was recognized on the Vice Chancellor’s List for Academic Excellence. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Applied Human Physiology & Biochemistry at the University of Exeter, United Kingdom. An accomplished researcher, Adam has made significant contributions to sports science, exercise physiology, and emerging sports technologies. He has led multiple high-impact research projects, including studies on high-altitude physiology, cardiovascular responses to exercise, and the use of innovative technologies in athletic performance. His expertise extends beyond academia, having served as a teaching assistant at the University of Exeter and as a research assistant for the National High Altitude Research Project at Mount Everest.A passionate educator and mentor, Adam has received multiple awards for research excellence and innovation, including The Best Research Supervisor and Innovation Awards from UiTM Negeri Sembilan. Actively engaged in knowledge sharing, he frequently conducts workshops and delivers keynote speeches at national and international conferences, inspiring both students and professionals.

Kamran Mir

Senior Research Assistant, TU Dublin, Ireland

Adjunct Professor, Faculty of Information and Communication Studies, UPOU, Philippines

 

​Kamran Mir is an EdTech researcher and trainer currently working as a Senior Research Assistant at TU Dublin. He is also involved in a project under SFI’s d-real Centre for Research Training, focusing on Digital Platform Technology. Previously, he served as Assistant Director of IT at Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU), Pakistan, for over ten years. AIOU is one of the world's largest open universities, providing education to millions of students. Kamran holds a Master’s degree in GIS from the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), Pakistan, the country's top-ranked institution and among the top 100 universities in Asia according to the QS World University Rankings 2023. His research interests include GIS, Spatial Learning Analytics, and Distance Education. A dynamic and highly active young researcher, Kamran is passionate about EdTech, research, and teaching. He has received numerous international awards and research fellowships, including one Gold Medal and three Silver Medals from the Asian Association of Open Universities (AAOU).
