Professor Dr. Ramlee Mustapha
​​Head of TVET and Industry Cluster

Ramlee Mustapha is a Professor of Technical and Vocational Education at the Faculty of Technical and Vocational Education, Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI]. In 2010, he was appointed as the Dean for Post-Graduate Studies at UPSI. He was appointed as the Dean of the Faculty of Technical and Vocational Education at UPSI. In 2017, he was appointed as the 5th President of the Asian Academic Society for Vocational Education and Training (AASVET). In 2022, he was as appointed as the Head of TVET and Industry Cluster in National Professor Council. He is an expert in vocational education and training and human resource development especially in the Pacific Rim and East Asian region. In 2023, he was appointed as a Member of Malaysia National TVET Council chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister. He was invited as main speaker at several International Conferences such as in Thailand (2001), Singapore (2002), Taiwan (2002), Indonesia (2002), Kuwait (2002), Saudi Arabia (2002), Finland (2003), Thailand (2004), Costa Rica (2006), Saudi Arabia (2006), Hawaii (2007) and Taiwan (2007), Indonesia (2008), China (2008), Japan (2009), Indonesia and Taiwan (2010), New Zealand, Thailand, China, Singapore and Vietnam (2011), Japan (2013), Germany and Taiwan (2016), Indonesia and China (2017), Vietnam (2018), Iran and Russia (2019), United Kingdom (2020), China (2021), Pakistan, Cambodia and UK (2022), China and Indonesia (2023).He has written over 150 articles and 10 books in Technical-Vocational Education, Design Thinking, Digitalization and AI in Education and Human Resource Development. He holds a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering (BSChE) from University of Alabama, USA. His first Masters degree in Educational Administration (M.Ed) from Eastern New Mexico University, USA and his second Masters degree in Industrial Technology (M.Sc) from Purdue University, USA. He earned a doctoral degree in Technical and Vocational Education (Ph.D) also from Purdue University, USA.

Professor Dr. Maha Bali
American University, Cairo, Egypt
Maha Bali is Professor of Practice at the Center for Learning and Teaching at the American University in Cairo. She has a PhD in Education from the University of Sheffield, UK. She is co-founder of virtuallyconnecting.org (a grassroots movement that challenges academic gatekeeping at conferences) and co-facilitator of Equity Unbound (an equity-focused, open, connected intercultural learning curriculum, which has also branched into academic community activities Continuity with Care, Socially Just Academia, a collaboration with OneHE: Community-building Resources and MYFest, an innovative 3-month professional learning journey. She writes and speaks frequently about social justice, critical pedagogy, and open and online education.

Professor Dr. Chan Nee Nee
UCSI University, Malaysia.
Thought-provoking speaker, researcher, and teacher, Professor Chan Nee Nee inspires others to think critically about their actions and reflect on their work. As an invited speaker to conferences and seminars, Nee Nee’s highly interactive style enables her to make meaningful connections with her audience.
Nee Nee previously worked as Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences in UCSI University and Quest International University, and was with the Singapore Polytechnic, as Deputy Director, Language and Communication Department. She has a Doctorate in Education (Durham University, UK), an M.A. in English Studies from the National University of Singapore.
Dr Nee Nee’s research interests are in technology-enhanced learning, AI in education, bullying and cyberbullying, digital cultures, and academic practice. She has published in high impact journals and led several large grant projects in cyberbullying and the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in academic practices. Her passion for exploring how technologies intersect with education and society has led her to focus on the big wave currently sweeping the world: the impact of Generative AI in higher education.
